The fires are still raging here in Orange County. The Santiago Canyon fire is 'ours', its been making its way south towards us but thankfully the winds have died down and it seems to be heading back into the Cleveland National Forest. Fingers crossed it keeps going that way! For those interested you can check out www.ocfa.org click on Santiago Fire and if gives you the latest update and a pretty good map of where the fire is at. We're not in any immediate danger but the city remains on 'alert'.
The smoke is now HORRENDOUS. All parks are closed and we're advised to stay inside. This is easier said than done with an almost 3 year old! We've had a couple of play dates, been to the tumble centre and we have made a LOT of Halloween crafts. It keeps Jamie busy but I hope things improve soon as we miss the playground! Its a catch 22, we need the wind to move the smoke away but the wind spreads the fire.......
Anyways we're all ok so no need to worry:-)
